Well, the Jiuxiang cave and the Stone forest in Kunming was nice. Mun Ee even said, the Stone Forest looks like the Stone Henge of Asia… hahaha, which is quite true. Then we went to Lijiang, by flight. When on board, oh my God, the crew was so leng chai. He looks like Wang Lee Hom man…. Ok la, drop that part of. When arrived, we went to interesting places like the Black Dragon Pool and the Ancient City. Well, still nothing that scares me off but one interesting fact was the old ladies there, since they got nothing to do, they danced their traditional Naxi dance in the ancient city, which I think is pretty interesting.
Moving on, the next day we went to Shangri-La… haha, the same name as Lee Hom’s album. Well, that part was the funny part. Upon arrival, we went to one of the hotels and went to pee pee la. And the guys look so much different from us Malaysia Chinese. Later on, I went to a Tibetan House for a party, and seriously, they looked so different form us. The house is a bit like rumah panjang but a smaller version. And yeah, I kena pikat there, not exagerating but it’s true. That guy, dunno why suddenly wanna kenakan me. At first it was those Tibetan girls who pour our drinks or should I say wine for us. then suddenly this crazy fella, a guy, not to say he’s crazy la but he came to me and add on wine for me and my friend. And there, he started. Say wanna drink with me..seriously, he drank my friend’s wine, bottoms up man. I can’t cuz it’s a bit too strong. Then he say wanna dance with me la…gosh, crazy man. Then the dance floor started…wow, it was seriously a crazy party man where all the elders started dancing. Then the crazy guy, went into one changing room and started talking in Tibetan language and I have no idea what the hell he said man…. But who cares! But the disco dance floor started and everyone started dancing. Before we left, the crazy Tibetan guy, went crazy I assume, he grabbed me and he didn’t intend to let me go. Crazy man!! But in the end, he let me go la. And my crazy parents, didn’t help me when I was in trouble…… meanie parents!!!
Haha, but it was fun. Oh ya forgot to mention about their sucky toilets. The Tibetan house toilet sucks man. Words can’t even describe the sucky toilet. But like duh, this is a very interesting experience.
Next, went back to Lijiang and stuff. Well, here and there, we experienced toilets without doors, toilets without flush, toilets with sucky smell. But still, we manage to find a 5 star toilet. And Malaysians, STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT MALAYSIAN TOILETS. IT’S WAY MUCH BETTER THAN CHINA TOILETS!!!!
But still, in conclusion, this trip to China is really an eye opener for me. Rupa rupanya there is still ulu places in China. Though it’s ulu, but people lived a simple and happy life. No hectic, no worries. But one thing bad about the places I went, in Lijiang, Shangri-La and Dali, men do not need to work. Women will do everything. Which I think its discrimination, and I do think it’s really bad. Shouldn’t it be the other way round? Ha, but that’s the way it is.
Oh and I learned a few words from them and I do think it’s really funny. Below it’s a list of words.

Weird but I do find it funny. In Kunming, their main minority is Han people. In Lijiang is the Naxi group. In Shangri-La is the Tibetan and in Dali, is the Bai minority. Well, surprisingly, in Lijiang itself, they have more than 22 minorities but the main one is Naxi group. Whew, what an experience in China….hahaha
